The metrics subsystem

FlowPoint Metrics Subsystem allows taking the following sets of process metrics:

Metrics of a process instance.
These metrics belong to the instance of the process in general:

  • Process time, days. The elapsed time between the initiation of a process instance and the run time of a finite element.
  • The deviation from the time constraints, days. The sum of deviations of all the elements of a process instance (type "Task").
  • The number of tasks, units. The total number of tasks created as a result of a process instance execution.
  • The number of documents, units. The total number of documents (forms) involved in this process instance.
  • A number of new documents, units. The total number of documents or forms created as a result of this process instance.
  • A number of performers involved, men. The total number of people involved in this process instance.
  • Average occupancy of an executor, days. The ratio of the total execution time of tasks to the number of executors involved.

Metrics of the process instance in terms of assignments and tasks update due to the tasks execution. Prior to execution the data metrics of order are not included in order metrics of the process instance.

Accuracy of metrics measurement - 1 day.

Metrics of the process.
Metrics of the process are aggregated from all the instances of the process for a given period of time. These metrics are:

  • The average process time, days. The average time elapsed between the initiation of the process instance and the execution time of a finite element of all process instances.
  • The average deviation from the time constrains. The average of the sum of deviations of all the elements of a process (type: “Task for all process instances”).
  • The average number of tasks, units. The average number of tasks created as a result of process instances.
  • The average number of documents, units. The average number of documents involved in the process instance.
  • The average number of created documents, units. The average number of documents and forms created as a result of process instances.
  • The average number of executors, men. The average number of people involved in the process.
  • The average occupancy of executors, days. The ratio of the total execution time of tasks to the number of executors involved.
  • Maximum time of the process, days. The maximum time between the initiation of the process instance and the execution time of a finite element of all process instances.
  • The maximum deviation from the time constraints, days. Maximum of the sum of deviation of all the elements of a process (type: "Task for all process instances").
  • The maximum number of tasks, units. Maximum number of tasks created as a result of process instances.
  • The maximum number of documents, units. Maximum number of documents involved in the process instance.
  • The maximum number of created documents, units. Maximum number of documents or forms created as a result of process instances.
  • The maximum number of executors, men. The maximum number of people involved in the process.
  • The quality of the process, %. The ratio of the total time of the tasks to the total time of deviation.

Metrics of the process instance in terms of orders and tasks should be updated after the execution. Before the execution of the order, data metrics of order are not included in the metrics of process instance.

Metrics of an executor.

  • Occupancy of the execution in the process, %. The ratio of total time spent on tasks in the process to the working time.
  • The quality of the process, %. The ratio of the total time spent on tasks in the process to the total time of deviation.
  • The overall quality of execution, %. The ratio of the total time spent on tasks to the total time of deviation.
